I am endeavoring to make your favorite mug.
I grew up making mud pies in my parents garden. Took me decades to find my way to clay. That first class opened up a path paved with joy, frustration, and creativity.
After years of studying clay in community studios, I now teach in one of the most creative places on earth, Barnsdall Art Center. I have the fun of passing on what I love while seeing frustration turn to amazement with my guidance.
I have my own studio in the bustling and wacky neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles. This is where I create unique handmade pottery for the every day. I hope I can make a ceramic piece for you that brightens your everyday food rituals or joyous celebrations.
